✦ Key takeaways
- Guests pick their duration and guest count; pricing calculates instantly from your tiered rates
- Collect a deposit at booking and balance on the trip date — automated or manual
- Cancellation and reschedule policies with configurable deadlines and fee structures
Running charter bookings through generic tour software is a constant fight against the wrong model. Charters aren’t fixed slots — guests choose duration, group size, and add-ons. Pricing has bands. Deposits are standard. Cancellations have teeth. Freebo was purpose-built to handle all of it.
The full charter workflow
Guest checkout: Guests select their charter date, pick a duration (2, 3, 4, or more hours — whatever options you offer), enter their party size, choose any add-ons (food, beverage packages, decorations), and see a price calculated from your exact tiered rates before they pay a dollar.
Payment: Freebo collects a configurable deposit at booking, with the remaining balance due on or before the trip date. Balances can be collected automatically or you can send a manual charge request.
Policies: Cancellation and reschedule policies enforce deadline-based fee structures. A guest cancelling 48 hours out might owe 50%; cancelling the day-of owes 100%. Freebo calculates and applies the fee automatically.
What operators get in the dashboard
Every charter booking lands in your dashboard with full financial detail: deposit received , balance outstanding , add-ons selected, guest contact info, and trip notes. Export to CSV or hand it to your crew directly.
