Day & Time Rates for Charters
Charge a weekend rate on a charter — day-of-week and time-of-day pricing for flexible-duration products.
Fixed-schedule products already do this. Schedule-based pricing tiers let an 8am tour and a 1pm tour carry different prices on the same product, and schedules already know which days they run.
Charters work differently. Tiered-hourly pricing prices a flexible-duration booking from guest count, base duration, and additional-hour rate — a model built for “how many people, for how long,” not “which day.” A seasonal date range is supported, but a recurring rule like Saturdays cost more has nowhere to live.
The design goal is that nothing existing changes: a pricing tier with no day or time rule keeps applying every day, exactly as it does now. And as everywhere else in Freebo, a price change produces a fresh quote version rather than editing one that already exists — so bookings made under an old rate keep their original numbers.
